"Karma," kicks off with Beom-jun (posing as Jae-yeong) setting the abandoned building ablaze, only to get trapped beneath falling debris. Meanwhile, the insurance payout is confirmed but unexpectedly redirected to the church, much to Beom-jun’s fury. Ju-yeon outsmarts him by switching his painkillers with fentanyl, which sets off a chain of events revealing true identities and bitter rivalries.
